SK hynix sales pass 100 trillion won on AI memory demand
The Korean chipmaker’s July–September sales rose 328% from a year earlier, and its operating profit rose 632%. SK hynix expects demand for memory to beat supply through 2030.
SK hynix, a top maker of the memory chips that AI systems need, published its third-quarter results on October 28 in Seoul. Sales were 104.6 trillion won, its first quarter above 100 trillion won. Operating profit was 83.3 trillion won, or about $62.8 billion, AFP reports. The figures are preliminary.
