Visitor counting: your choice
We count your visits only if you say yes. You can change your answer here at any time.

Checking this browser…
Your answer is kept in one small cookie, silicon-count, which holds only “yes” or “no”, goes only to this site and lasts 180 days. Then we ask once more. It applies to this browser only: a private window, another browser or another device asks again. Clearing this site’s data clears your answer, and then we count nothing until you answer again.
What we count after your yes
For each page you open, our own server notes: which page, which of our pages you came from (or only the name of another site), phone or computer, and the country. We use these to see which pages help people, and to fix or move the ones that don’t.
We never keep your IP address, your browser’s details, the words you search for or any ID, so we cannot tell one visit from another or follow anyone. Cloudflare, our host, keeps these lines for three months. No counting script runs in your browser.
What we count without asking
- “Did this answer your question?”: when you press Yes or No, we count only the page and your answer. Pressing it is your choice; nothing else about you is kept.
- Machines, not people: search engines, feed services and AI assistants that Cloudflare has verified, by the page they fetch and their name. For our connector: the tool an AI assistant used and its name, never what it was asked.
What this site keeps in your browser
Each of these is saved only after you do something, stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
- Your counting answer (
silicon-count, a cookie): after you press Yes or No. 180 days. - Your colour theme (
silicon-theme): after you choose one. - Your lesson level and your started courses (
siliconai-learn-level,siliconai-learn-courses): after you choose a level. - Your finished lessons (
siliconai-learn-done): after you answer a lesson’s quiz. - That you have seen the graph’s help card (
silicon-graph-help): after you close it.
Everything except the cookie is kept until you clear this site’s data in your browser.
Our host
Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks. To do that it processes technical data such as IP addresses. Our own logs keep only errors in our code, not your visits.
