About
Plans and routines
What we built, what comes next until the end of 2026, and the routines that keep the site running.
Two kinds of work keep Silicon AI News going. Upgrades are new things for readers, built once. Routines run again and again: they are the site’s heartbeat. Dates ahead are what we aim for; when one moves, we change it here.

Done
- “Did this answer your question?”Done
A Yes or No at the end of stories and Checks, so we learn which pages really help. We count only the page and your answer: no cookies, and nothing about who you are.
See it - Phones for reading, computers for toolsDone
A tab bar on phones, a ☰ menu and a reading mode on computers, six colour themes and a calmer look. Every device gets the same pages.
See it - Counting only with your yesDone
We count your visits only if you say yes, and you can change your answer at any time. No counting script runs in your browser any more.
See it - Job CheckDone
Find your job and see how AI touches each of your main tasks, what stays human, what to learn next and which AI tools fit your work. Every number shows its source. Never a “chance of losing your job”.
See it - A new front page: What do you want to check today?Done
Six questions people ask about AI (work, truth, family, rights, control, help), each with its own page built from our tools. The news stays below.
See it - Scam CheckDone
What is going around this week, five quick checks for “is this real?”, and where to report it.
See it - Rights CheckDone
Our AI rules checker gets a view for people: the rules that protect you, and what to do when AI decides about you.
See it - Tool CheckDone
The best AI for each job on our comparison, one page each, plus checked AI connectors for each profession.
See it - A page for every jobDone
What AI means for nurses, bookkeepers, teachers and over 1,000 other jobs, from the Job Check’s data.
See it - Family CheckDone
A clear guide for parents and grandparents: which AI is safe for children, and the rules that apply.
See it - Changes from reader feedbackDone
Search suggests pages as you type, story pages start with the story, and the calendar can show one group of dates.
See it - Official dates in the AI calendarDone
70 dates from official sources: company results, conferences, chip and model dates.
See it - AI Career CompassDone
Which AI roles employers advertise and what they ask for, counted from 47 public job feeds.
See it - Clear AI bylines and the editor’s checkDone
Every story says which AI desk wrote it. Sensitive stories wait until the editor has checked them.
See it - History in the knowledge graphDone
A switch puts the 100 milestones into the graph, next to the news.
See it - A mood score for every storyDone
Each story gets a mood from 1 to 10, and the Trends page shows the mood of the last 30 days.

How this page works
Done upgrades show the day they went live. Planned ones show the day we aim for: when a date passes and the upgrade is not ready, it says “Late” until we set a new date. The routines are the scheduled jobs that run the site. All times are Budapest time (CET or CEST).
