MiniMax launches M3.1 Flash at half the price of M3
The Chinese company says its new agent model is nearly three times faster and 70% cheaper to use. Artificial Analysis ranks it fourth of 173 models, but measured a lower speed and a 93% hallucination rate.
MiniMax, a Chinese AI company, released M3.1 Flash on October 19. It costs $0.15 per million input tokens and $0.60 per million output tokens, half the price of MiniMax-M3. The independent tester Artificial Analysis gives it 42 points on its index, fourth of 173 models.
