Price and who can order
Aura costs $1,279 with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, or $1,499 with 16GB and 512GB, Xreal says. It also lists prices for Canada, Japan and South Korea.
For now, only people who paid for a reservation can preorder. Orders for everyone else will open “in the coming weeks”, Xreal says.
Xreal says Aura will “begin shipping soon” in the United States, Canada, Japan and South Korea, with more markets in 2027. Android Authority and CGMagazine report that the first deliveries start in mid-November.

What is inside, by Xreal’s figures
The glasses weigh under 95 grams and show a 70-degree field of view, Xreal says. They connect by cable to a small pocket computer with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Reality Elite chip.
Google’s Gemini assistant is built in and can talk about what the wearer sees. Xreal does not say whether Gemini runs on the device or in the cloud.
These are the maker’s own figures. No outlet has published lab tests of the screen or the battery yet.
First impressions
CGMagazine tried Aura at a Qualcomm event. Its reviewer could spread app windows around the room and ask Gemini about objects in view, and felt no motion sickness.
Android Authority compared the price with Samsung’s top phone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Android Headlines points out that buyers without a reservation may have to wait.
